Oliver Mackenzie Munson-Martin

Oliver was born on November 5, 2009 at 10:38am. He was 7lbs 19.5 inches........He is now 9 lbs and 11 oz and 21 inches long. Ollie is now 6 weeks old today. Mom was in hard labor for 1.5 hours with no pain meds. (OUCH :)!) Ollie and mom moved back to Las Vegas on December 14, 2009 to be with family and friends of mommy. We are doing very well.

Oliver was born on November 5, 2009 at 10:38am. He was 7lbs and 19.5 inches. Thank goodness he was three weeks early. Can you imagine if he was born on Nov. 22, 2009 (Expected due date) how big he would have been ;)

Momma was in labor for no more than 1.5 hours. That was long enough.

Mom will be posting my baby pictures on the blog as soon as she can get enough time to do so. Right now I have been keeping her pretty occupied.

Baby Check Ups!

On September 29, 2009 mommy went into the doctors office for a regular check up for blood pressure, protein levels, and to listen to the baby heart beat. The doctors decided to send Mommy to the Labor and Delivery asap when they found out her blood pressure was 161/103 and 32 weeks pregnant with me. Good thing Nana was around to take her because mommy was a little scared. As we walked in to the Labor and Delivery room in Fairfield, CA all the nurses were so nice and new exactly what to do to keep mommy calm. Mommy was hooked up to a baby stress test monitor and blood pressure machines for a couple hours and also had blood drawn. GO MOMMY! All test came out just fine except for her blood pressure, however, it did come down a little bit after she rested for a while and became more calm in the situation.

The doctor had mommy come back for another stress test and blood pressure check the following day. Nana took a couple of pictures of mommy and me so that you can all see the hospital that I will be delivered. Mommy will now be going into the hospital two days a week for the same test so the doctors can keep and eye on mommy and me! We just want to make sure that mommy and I stay cool calm and collective. Well it's easier for me, but we need to figure out a way to keep mommy calm, because when she is calm her blood pressure is good.

Beautiful San Fransisco Day on September 26, 2009. Mom and I and of course baby went cruising around the San Fransisco Bay. We went to Giradelli Square, Cannery and the Marina by Hyde Street. The weather was amazing! 70 degrees and light wind.

Leaving Las Vegas

Well it's been about three weeks and mommy and I are going to be traveling back to vacaville with all my new shower gifts. Nana and mommy are going to begin tomorrow morning at 5am to drive back to Northen California so we can make it back in time for mommy's doctors appointment on tuesday. 9 weeks and counting and I will be ready to join the world. Mommy is a little nervous, but I know she will be just fine once she see's my smiling face.

Thank you to all my friends and family who are giving much support to mommy. We have had such a good time in Vegas and I can't wait to see everyone in December.

On September 12, 2009 Mommy had her baby shower. She got lots of cool toys for me and baby bath soaps and lotions. Mommy would like to thank everyone who came to the baby shower and provided mommy with all sorts of cool things for me :)

I would also like to thank my Nana and best friend/Auntie Megan and long time friend Kara for putting together this wonderful party for my mommy. We had so much fun!
(THE CAKE WAS AMAZING!)

Some Nights Are Better Than Others!

Let's just say sleeping was not an option for mommy tonight. She finally went to bed about 9pm and never was able to get to sleep. Was it because I was punching, kicking, or maybe doing my roller coaster moves in her tummy? Or was it because she needed some cereal? Let's just say that mommy did not get any sleep last night. The funny part was that when she did finally decided to get up and out of bed at 4:30 in the morning to go down into the kitchen and get some cereal she ended up waking up the whole house. Yes that's right 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 Nana. Oops!

Today should be a fun day, we are going to go visit Great Grandma also known as Weezey. Nana, Weezey, Mommy and I are all going to Lunch and YES of course more baby shopping. I don't think I am going ever have to worry about not having cloths on my back and enough toys to play with :)Sounds Good To Me!

Let's hope Mommy gets sleep tomorrow night or it's going to be a long weekend since we have family and friends coming in town on Thursday.

Labor Day Weekend

Baby Girl Patches!

What's better than being home and seeing your puppies? 16 year old baby patches and 4 year old merlot ,who is in the back ground, were very happy to see mommy and I when we got to nana's house. Mommy stoped at Del Taco for dinner (since of course we don't have one in Vacaville, it's was a nice treat) and brought the puppies some french fries home. (That sure is their favorit treat of all times.) Patches was born when mommy was 11 years of age and is still going. She has been such a good puppy!!!

Mommas Home Town!

Well I finally made it to Las Vegas. After a long 2 day trip, mommy and I are at nanas.

We began our trip on Tuesday at 6am and headed to Bakersfield California were we stayed at my great-aunt and uncles house for the night. Mommy had her interview for her unemployment and unfortunatly she is still having issues, but on the other hand it will be settled by Friday. (Well let's just say it better be or momma is going to open a can of ass kicking on the state and her last employer!)

We began our last part of the trip at 430am this morning. Mommy had to make sure we were able to get past the horrible construction block that was going to begin on I-15 outside of Prim Nevada between 10-2pm. If we did not get past that part of the trip in time we would have had to sit in the car for four hours why the road was close. Thank goodness I woke mommy up at 415am by kicking her to get her butt up and out the door so we made it past the construction zone. That would have been a mess and plus with 110 degrees outside, no fun for sure!

Heart Monitor

Mommy has a new heart monitor. She can listen to me kick and twist and also hiccup whenever she wants too. Bella also likes to have her heart listened to by mommy.

Sometimes when mommy eats a lot I usually become very active and then the heart monitor really picks up my punches!

I like it when mommy listens to me swim in her belly :)
